Biography
Mark Andrew Wesolowski, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Management in the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University located in Oxford, Ohio. Professor Wesolowski received a doctorate in 1991 from Auburn University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and since 1990 has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior and human resource management at Miami University. Dr. Wesolowski was the recipient of the Richard T. Farmer School of Business Teaching Excellence Award in 2001 and has taught Miami students in England, France, Luxembourg, Germany, China, South Korea, Japan, and Mexico.
Prior to Miami University, Mark was a researcher at BellSouth's Executive Assessment Center in Atlanta and the United States Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences at Fort Benning, Georgia. Professor Wesolowski currently teaches "Motivation and Work" and "Introduction to Management and Leadership" at Miami University and his research investigates the impact of motivational and leadership influences on performance outcomes. Dr. Wesolowski's research has been published in numerous scholarly journals including the Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Managerial Issues, and Journal of Business and Psychology and he currently serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies.
